Q. How long does it take to setup a reservation? How much notice do I need to give you to make a reservation?
A. Under normal circumstances, it takes up to three full business days for us to obtain confirmation for a reservation. If there is any missing or questionable information on the reservation request form, missing proof of cohabitation (if you're a cohabitating non-married couple), or payment issues, then this could cause a delay which extends the turn around time. 


Q. How do I purchase a package and make a reservation?

A. There are three easy steps.

Step 1: Call our office at 1-800-539-1291 to check availability
             and provide payment information via credit card.
Step 2:
Fill out an online reservation request form now by clicking here.
Step 3: Watch your email or fax for the next three business days for a confirmation letter.

We may need to contact you during this time if additional information so it's important we have a contact email and/or phone number where you can be reached in a timely manner. Please make sure you fill in all of the information correctly. Errors or missing information can cause your request to be delayed.


Q. Why are these vacations so cheap?
A. These packages are promotions for vacation ownership at a hosting resort. There are certain qualifications you must meet as well as a fun and informative tour of the hosting resort that you must attend. You'll learn during the tour how to save lots of money on future vacations!


Q. Are there any additional costs or hidden fees?
A. No. Any fees or additional costs that we are aware of will be posted with the package information. Be sure you completely read and comprehend the important information for the package your interested in.


Q. What if I for some reason buy the package and don't meet the qualifications listed on the vacation package, fail to show up on my arrival date with my cohabitating partner/spouse, or fail to take the property tour?
A. You would be charged the full price of the package plus the cost of any gifts included, minus the promotional price you paid.


Q. Do I have to buy anything during the promotional resort tour?
A. NO! You are not obligated to buy anything! Once you have completed the obligated time on your tour, be courteous to the sales people and nicely explain you are not interested. Thank them for their time and then ask to be excused. Remember, they are the reason you're saving hundreds on your vacation package! Once you have completed the informative tour of the hosting resort you can gather your gift (if there's one included with your package) and then the rest of the time is yours to enjoy!


Q. Why did my promotional tour at the resort last almost two hours when the information on Vacation-4less.net stated 90 minutes?

A. It is a possibility that the tour may last longer than 90 minutes due to questions or discussions within the tour group. Remember that if you're not interested, you are only obligated to at least 90 minutes of your time. Once this time has passed, if you're not interested, politely thank the resort for their time and then ask to be excused. 


Q. How do I schedule/reschedule my tour date/time?
A. We do not schedule/reschedule tour times. These times/dates are set forth by the resort on a first available slot. We have no control over tour times. The resorts will not schedule your tour the day of your arrival or departure.


Q. What if I need to reschedule my trip?
A. We will reschedule your trip one time at no cost. Each additional reschedule will be subject to a $10 reschedule fee. Some results may charge additional reschedule fees. Reschedule requests must be submitted at least three full business days prior to your scheduled arrival date via email to reservations@carsontravel.net.


Q. Can I request a particular cabin/type of room/room amenities/resort building, etc?
A. No. Accomodations are based on limited availability for these promotions and are assigned on a first come first serve basis by the resorts/hotels.


Q. I called the hotel and they say the have plenty of availability when you tell me there isn't. Why?
A. Our partner hotels/resorts set aside only a limited number of rooms at our heavily discounted promotional rates. Once these rooms are gone, the hotel will not allow us to book any more discounted rate rooms.


Q. Why does it take a minimum of three full business days to setup a reservation request?
A. Due to the nature of these promotions, reservations take extra processing. Due to security reasons and technological limitations, the resorts and hotels are not able to give us direct access to their reservation computer databases. Therefore all communications and reservation requests are processed via email and by hand. All requests must be reviewed for accuracy, errors corrected, and qualfications verified. In the event there are errors on your form, or if you fail to provide all the requested information, then your reservation request will be delayed. Please refrain from calling or emailing our office inquiring about the status of your reservation request until a full minimum of three business days has passed.


Q. Why does the cancellation/change policy require a minimum of three business days notice?

A.  If your reservations with the hosting resort/hotel are not cancelled within three business days from your scheduled arrival date for ANY reason (death, illness, etc.), then Vacation-4less.net is billed for full rack rate of the first night hotel/resort stay plus taxes and any resort/hotel fees. In the event this occurs, we would charge the credit/debit card you used at the time of your package purchase to pay for any damages/fees billed to Vacation-4less.net due to lack of cancelling within the said time frime. Please do not ask for or expect an exception, as there are none.


Q. Why do I have to submit the cancellation request via email?

A. We require any change or cancellation requests in writing for documentation, legal, and security purposes. 


Q. I can't make my reservation date due to an unforseen emergency (illness, death, hospitalization, etc.) that has occurred less than three business days prior to my scheduled arrival date. Does the cancellation/change policy still apply?

A. These situations would be addressed on a case by case basis.


 Q. Why do these packages have age, marriage, income, and other qualfication requirements?
A.  These qualifications are set forth by the resort, not Vacation-4less.net, and are designed to target a select demographic for a potential investment in vacation ownership options. Vacation-4less.net is obligated by contracts with the resorts to adhere to these qualifications, otherwise, the resort/hotel bills Vacation-4less.net the full regular cost of the vacation package.


Q. What if I don't meet all of the qualifications?
A.  Pleaes do not attempt to purchase a vacation package through Vacation-4less.net. Please contact the hosting hotel/resort directly for booking inquiries.

Q. Can I buy more than one package to the same destination from Vacation-4less.net?
A. No. The resort promotional rules only allow one package every 15 months. This will vary. Please see the important information listed at the bottom of each vacation package informational page. This also applies to purchasing a package to a resort desintation through Vacation-4less.net that you visted through another company.


Q. What if I buy two packages to two completely resort destinations from Vacation-4less.net?

A. You may purchase as many different destinations other than the ones with limitations. You cannot use these packages back to back and we do ask for 14-30 days between destinations.


Q. The qualifications state I have to have a major credit card. Will a debit/check card work?

A. No. If the qualifications state major credit card, then you need to have a major credit card. These types of cards are not the same.


Q. Why can't you make an exception for me on the qualifications?

A. We do not write the qualifications, therefore we cannot make changes or exceptions to them. If we send a non qualifying guest to the resort, we get billed for the full regular price of that guests vacation package, which is usually several hundred dollars.
